Frankincense Sacra, Omani.

Description

This genuine blend of Omani Frankincense is a co-distillation from the same supplier as our White (Hojari) Sacra and Black (Nedjei) Sacra. They will no longer be distilling them separately, and although disappointed,  we are more than delighted by the outcome of the pairing. It brings the sweet, piney sparkle of the Hojari resin mingling with the subtleties of Nedjei’s fresh, citrus spice. Many Frankincense oils have a lemony undertone, this lovely distillation of resins from Dhofar  carries with it a delightful orange note.  In the words of the distiller, “As you breathe in a lungful of [this] oil you can feel its expansive, grounding and liberating effervescence vibrating throughout your body. From your lungs through your bloodstream, and into your mind and mood.” We do not disagree.

In reading the descriptions of our White and Black Frankincense Sacras individually, I cannot disagree with any of the sentiment combined of the two resins distilled together. Truly sparkling, grounding, and uplifting. A comfort in motion… a bright wave of reassurance flows through me with each whiff of the scent strip. I want to bathe in this Omani Frankincense which has brought a sense of clarity and comfort that I know will send me out into the world with clearheaded visions.
