Calendula is one of the herbalist’s favorite, and most useful infused oils. For years we made it ourselves, carefully removing the petals from the dried blossoms, and infusing for weeks in olive oil. The results varier, based on the blossoms I used, and the color of the olive oil. Today, we are able to provide a uniform infusion through the use of our wonderful Calendula CO2 extract. Uses: Reduces swelling,aids wound and burn healing, helpful for acne, impetigo, eczema. Antiseptic and regenerating. Use infused oil at 15 or 25%, some authorities and herbalists use full strength. Anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, wound healing. Useful for bed sores, broken veins, bruises, inflamed gums, varicose veins. Effective on rashes, dry, chapped, or cracked skin. Wonderful in salves for diaper rash. Especially useful for dry eczema.
