Melissa Calendula Lip Balm.

Description

We’ve received a lot of raves from people who have used our diluted Melissa Essential Oil on cold sores, fever blisters, whatever you choose to call them. We’ve combined our Melissa CO2 Extract, added healing Calendula extract to soothe the irritation and blended them into the richest, most soothing carrier oils we could find. A generous dollop of our Shea Butter plus anti-aging benefits of Rosemary Anti-oxidant  , and voila—a healing, soothing lip balm. (The balm is a rich buttery yellow in the tube, but goes on clear and translucent. We were tempted to add some Rose Hip Seed to color it red, but that wouldn’t have improved the healing qualities of this salve, so we left it yellow.) We have clients who will NOT be without this small healing gem, and stock up every spring.

We have created an XTRA-strength version for issues that need that extra kick of Melissa. Please order this with caution to how sensitive you’re skin reacts to certain oils. While I, nor a coworker,  had any sensitivities to the 1.5% dilution of Melissa CO2 Extract in the extra strength lip balm base, Marge feels that this is a potent dilution and wants to stress safety in use of this blend. If in doubt, stick with the regular potency.
